One of my favourite random Christchurch discoveries was this wall on Southwark Street. It is on the side of the Warren and Mahoney building. Just a wall reflecting a wall, that’s all. But done to perfection.
All the signs reversed, paint imitating the wear and tear of time.
On 23 May 2014 both wall and the wall it imitates were there.
On 9 January 2015 the original was a whiteout. Art as a reflection of what doesn’t exist.
