Flooding. I was on the bus to town, having dealt with heavy flooding in St Albans (water washed across Cranford Street). I leapt off on Cambridge Terrace to see that town had been flooded majorly too. Poor old camera got so sodden it had to go in for repairs after.
And so the rest of my March photos are mostly phone pics.
Sydenham always has little arty bits to savour.
New places. The Lemon Tree Cafe. And a new Stranges building.
And goodbye to the old. Victoria Apartments wends its way down.
Meanwhile on the side of Calendar Girls, I watched the Blue Lady take shape. It was like she was painting herself into existence.
And Owen Dippie’s ballerina on the back of the Theatre Royal. On first glimpse I thought she was going to be a big blue iris.
One of the last Pallet Pavilion market outings. I took my Dan Rhodes book.
